He started second base for his high school baseball team in 6th grade. Was Honorable Mention All-State in basketball his senior year. Was Class President of his dental school class all four years.

Family/Personal Interests:
Dr. Shelby Sheeran is married to her high school sweetheart, Cody, and they have a daughter, Riley. They moved to Lexington for college in 2010. They have two dogs who they spoil like children: Bella and Bentley. When she's not working, she enjoys boating at Lake Cumberland, running, spending time with friends and family, spoiling her dogs, and traveling with her husband.
Fun Fact(s):
She has run 8 marathons in 7 different states. She has wanted to be an orthodontist since she had hot pink headgear at the age of 12. Dr. Sheeran has done all of her schooling at UK and is a wildcat through and through! Go Cats.
