From the age of 4 through high school I was in a weekly bowling league, I collect key chains when I travel to new places, and I love building 3D puzzles.

Dr. Ian Weaver

Charleston, West Virginia and Corbin, Kentucky
Family/ Personal Interests:
While originally hailing from West Virginia, Dr. Weaver followed his fiancee to her home state of Kentucky. Dr. Weaver met his fiancee, Rachel Huffman (also an orthodontist!) while in residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown and the two are planning to get married in October. Dr. Weaver is a second-generation dentist alongside his father and uncle who are esteemed oral maxillofacial surgeons in West Virginia. Dr. Weaver looks forward to more of the welcoming friendliness he's experienced from the Kentuckians he's met so far and is excited to begin building a life in the state. When not working, Dr. Weaver is an artist, who enjoys digital painting, sculpture, and animation. He is also a fan of tabletop and video games and is a common sight at local game shops for pickup Magic: The Gathering games.
Fun Facts:
Dr. Weaver painted a 17-foot mural at the WVU Health Science Center entitled "The Cathedral of Learning"
Dr. Weaver once competed in the Evolution Champion Series fighting game tournament, though he did not progress very far.
Dr. Weaver created a holiday at the WVU dental school called "Crustmas" in which the students cooked free lunch sandwiches at school for students who were stressed from exams.
