Invisalign Clear Aligners

Are Clear Aligners Right for Me?

Believe it or not, more than four million people wear braces to correct their smiles. That said, the decision to commit to orthodontic treatment can still be difficult.

Patients looking to straighten teeth or improve the feel of their smile have an important choice to make: traditional braces or Invisalign®

At White, Greer & Maggard, our orthodontists are proud to offer patients three treatment options using Invisalign clear aligners — which are virtually invisible

What are Invisalign Clear Aligners?

Invisalign® works using clear plastic aligners that are shaped and fitted to your teeth. Using a series of custom trays, clear aligners replace the wires and brackets used to form conventional braces. While clear aligners are made of plastic, they can still correct many of the same dental issues as metal braces.

What are the Benefits of Clear Aligners?

Because the aligners are not a permanent fixture on the teeth, patients have the luxury of removing them as needed (within reason). Invisalign® grants wearers more freedom — requiring only 22 hours of wear a day. This allows for easier brushing and flossing, plus, food won’t get stuck like with metal brackets!

But, the benefits don’t stop there! When you begin treatment with Invisalign®, you can smile with confidence knowing that your treatment is the most discrete option available! This makes it a perfect option to wear any place you need to look and feel your best.

Comprehensive Treatment

Although we offer three types of treatment through Invisalign, comprehensive treatment is most common for treatment of teens and adults with mild to moderate alignment issues.

How long does comprehensive treatment take?
With Invisalign®, average treatment times can range from six to eighteen months, depending on the severity of the case. While treatment times using aligners vary, users that are diligent about wearing Invisalign® aligners tend to see better end results for their teeth and gums. Clear aligner treatment often requires less frequent visits.
How much does comprehensive Invisalign® cost?
Orthodontic costs vary in relation to the severity of each patient’s needs. For instance, minor issues like crooked teeth are often easier to treat than a severe overbite. As such, minor treatments tend to cost less than a more complex case.

That said, nationally, the average cost of Invisalign® can be as low as $3,000 for mild cases, while other more severe cases can end up being upwards of $9,000.The American Dental Association (ADA) estimates that conventional orthodontics for adults can range in cost between $4,685 and $6,500.

At White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics, we are proud to offer Invisalign® treatment starting at $3,995, significantly lower than our local competitors.

Invisalign First

Invisalign is not just for grownups anymore. One in every three kids can benefit from early orthodontic treatment, whether through traditional braces or Invisalign First treatment. Early orthodontic treatment, otherwise known as Phase I, proactively addresses developmental issues while your child is still transitioning from ‘baby teeth’ to permanent teeth. Scheduling your child’s first appointment at age 7 is essential to starting your child’s smile journey off right. Although not every child needs early orthodontic treatment, White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics offers a free impressionless scan and consultation to determine the best course of treatment and timeline specific to your child’s needs.
