What are Invisalign Clear Aligners?
Invisalign® works using SmartTrack material that is engineered specifically for the Invisalign system, ensuring a great fit. Using a series of custom trays, clear aligners replace the wires and brackets used to form conventional braces. While clear aligners are made of plastic, they can still correct many of the same dental issues as metal braces.
What are the Benefits of Clear Aligners?
Because the aligners are not a permanent fixture on the teeth, patients have the luxury of removing them as needed (within reason). Additional fees may apply depending on the length of treatment.

Invisalign First
Invisalign is not just for grownups anymore. One in every three kids can benefit from early orthodontic treatment, whether through traditional braces or Invisalign First treatment. Early orthodontic treatment, otherwise known as Phase I, proactively addresses developmental issues while your child is still transitioning from ‘baby teeth’ to permanent teeth. Scheduling your child’s first appointment at age 7 is essential to starting your child’s smile journey off right. Although not every child needs early orthodontic treatment, White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics offers a free impressionless scan and consultation to determine the best course of treatment and timeline specific to your child’s needs.

Although we offer three different types of treatment through Invisalign, comprehensive treatment is the most common for treatment of teens and adults with mild to moderate alignment issues. Like traditional braces treatment, it not only corrects the aesthetic appearance of your smile, but has the capability to adjust any bite issues as well. Typical treatment time is 12-24 months.
